One year into the public phase of the campaign it had surpassed 60 percent of its fundraising goal. Donors have raised $2.75 billion for the University to date.


Already, the campaign has attracted record–breaking gifts and pledges from alumni and friends in support of UChicago’s academic priorities. 41 percent of College alumni made donations, and more than 81,000 alumni engaged with the University in some way, through donations, volunteering or attending events—another all–time high.
